For more than 20 years, Colors Beauty & Wellness has been surrounded by the warmth and loyalty of our community. Giving back is part of our heart as a team.
Supporting Our Youth
Our team welcomes high school students who are interested in the beauty industry as a profession. We also love and appreciate our students in specialized programs that require work skills training. Our salon provides a supportive space to learn, grow, and discover their potential in the workplace. We’ve had the privilege of working with incredible students, including Erik, whose enthusiasm and positive spirit remind us why mentorship matters.
Our community is at the heart of everything we do. The encouragement, generosity, and ongoing support from our clients make it possible for us to continue giving back. Whether it’s attending our fundraising events, donating to local initiatives, or simply spreading the word about our causes, our clients play an essential role in helping us extend care beyond the salon. Each year, through client events, we dedicate a day of service to raise funds for local causes close to our hearts — in 2024, supporting Women in Crisis through the Fort Garry Resource Centre, and in 2025, the Fort Garry School Division Breakfast Program, helping ensure no child starts their day hungry.
Sharing Beauty With Everyone
Through our partnership with the Fort Garry Resource Centre, our team offers free haircuts to individuals and families who may not otherwise have access to salon services. It’s more than just a haircut — it’s a moment of dignity, self-care, and connection. We believe that everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and confident, no matter their circumstances. These experiences remind us of the true purpose behind what we do — using our skills to uplift others and share the simple joy that comes from being cared for.

SALON HISTORY
2003
Colors for Hair was created as a hair salon
2005
Expanded into a full service salon and wellness centre and was renamed, "Colors Beauty and Wellness"
2019
Created partnership with Nature Doctors and opened Pür GLō Natural Skin Rejuvenation Centre
2021
Partnered with Prairie Beauty Studio to offer a full range of permanent makeup and paramedical tattoo services.
2025
Partnered with Resonance Somatics to offer Craniosacral Therapy, as part of our expanded wellness services.
